Designing a White Wedding to Take Your Breath Away

There are times when supplying luxury wedding decorations can take you into wonderful locations and we were blessed to be asked to supply wedding decor for a couple using the grounds of Longleat House in Wiltshire to build their dream venue.

Wedding décor takes many forms and, in this case, we created their venue quite literally from the ground up. First sourcing this stunning marquee incorporating a clear hexagonal end, and decking overlooking the beautiful house and lake.

Let Your Wedding Design Be Inspired by your Dreams

When supplying wedding decor from the ground up, the next element is the carpet, and we decided on white, everyone’s favourite and most feared colour! In a home setting it’s rare that you could be brave enough, but a wedding interior is a fantasy where dreams can be made, and with a film over the carpet, until just before the guests arrive, it’s worth the risk.

Choosing Key Décor Elements to Tie a Theme Together

The tables and chairs are the next element of wedding decor and whilst a clothed table is always smart, the chairs can make a big difference as there are quite literally hundreds of them, and in full view. We hired these beautiful white French style chairs from Great Hire in London and they worked perfectly.

Wedding Décor Centrepieces that Suspire and Delight

We also installed a wonderful piece of wedding decoration in the form of a working stone fountain within the marquee. It had three working levels of cascading water and a ‘pool’ of beautiful white flowers beneath in the base and added a sophisticated serenity.

Create a Lounge Area for your Guests to Relax in After the Wedding Feast

A smart wedding event often involves the building of a lounge area which Crescent Moon provide as part of their wedding decoration design service. This one had linen chairs, ottomans, chaise lounges, sofas and glass coffee tables, and we created a chic but relaxed area at the far end of the marquee overlooking the house and grounds.

Magical Finishing Touches with Crystal Chandeliers and Flower Clouds

This marquee was lucky enough to have a full event decor service and the walls and ceiling were a stretched white fabric interior, under which crystals chandeliers and a ‘cloud’ of perfect fresh flowers hung to reflect those used in the fabulous table displays below.

As you can see, wedding decor is not just about the table decor, but the whole environment and this event allowed us to provide decorations to a superb level.
