Floor Standing Chandeliers for Outdoor and Indoor Events and Weddings
Over recent years, we have built up a large collection of chandelier floor lamps and chandelier arch stands to enable us to hang our chandeliers in all situations. No matter how challenging, from outdoor events to listed buildings, our chandelier stands have been indispensable on countless occasions.
Which is the best floor chandelier for you? Chandelier Floor Lamps Vs Chandelier Arches
We have two distinct styles of chandeliers stands:
Chandelier floor lamps are crystal chandeliers, mounted on a vertical pole. We have adapted a range of our stunning Marie Therese crystal chandeliers and Empire chandeliers to become crystal chandelier floor lamps. You can see the Floor Standing Chandelier range here.
Arch Chandelier Stands are an elegant, curved and weighted pole that the chandelier hangs from. The poles are often decorated with foliage. We have also had great success in creating a stunning lighting design using arches to hang our large Moorish lanterns. See below for examples of the both types of chandelier stand in our floor standing chandelier gallery.
With thanks to Wilderness festival for providing us with some beautiful photos of our arched chandelier stands with Marie Therese outdoor chandeliers for the festival in August 2024.

Why Use a Chandelier Stand?
Many of our clients dream of incorporating a chandelier as the central focus of their wedding and event design. However, this often creates a difficult task when it comes to planning the placement of the chandelier. The use of a floor standing chandelier enables us to envisage wonderous designs for parties, weddings and grand occasions, wherever the setting.
Chandelier stands allow us to create a truly striking effect. By incorporating a chandelier arch, we can design a beautiful walkway for a wedding scene, indoors or outside.
Free standing chandeliers can give the appearance of the chandelier literally floating if the stand is concealed well using foliage or with a floral display. For a cutting edge look, leave the chandelier arch exposed to enjoy the elegant arching lines of the caste metal stand. This creates an architectural, almost industrial feel to the look of the chandelier creating a modern statement.
Chandelier stands are also a fantastic solution for hanging chandeliers outside. Please visit our outdoor chandeliers gallery page for more inspiration for outdoor lighting designs.
Consider Floor Standing Chandeliers When Overhead Hanging is Not Suitable
Often a chandelier may have not been considered as the central lighting feature due to the practicality of finding a suitable hanging place. Using a floor standing chandelier enables us to incorporate these breath-taking feature lights in many places that would otherwise be deemed impossible.
Specially Designed Arched Floor Stands for Chandeliers
The stands that we have available for hire have been designed specifically for the job of hanging our delicate and precious collection of chandeliers. These stunning lighting features are known for their elegance and beauty and are made up of hundreds of individual pieces of glass, crystal and metal. Some of our chandeliers are incredibly heavy and tall so it is extremely important to have a suitably strong structure to hang them from and one that it high enough to lift the light overhead. We have designed our bespoke chandelier stands specifically to take the weight of our collection of Crescent Moon chandeliers and will specify the correct stand for the chandelier of your choosing.
