Richard Quinn London Fashion Week – The Mirrored Garden

Marie Therese 150’s Transform London’s Lindley Hall

London Fashion Week is synonymous with extraordinary creativity and theatrical spectacle, and for Richard Quinn’s Spring/Summer 2027 show, Crescent Moon was delighted to play a part in creating one of the week’s most breathtaking settings.

Staged at London’s magnificent Lindley Hall, The Mirrored Garden was a celebration of glamour, reflection and the drama of dressing up. The historic venue was transformed into a shimmering mirrored world, with Crescent Moon’s Marie Therese 150 chandeliers suspended throughout the space.

Reflected endlessly across the mirrored ceiling and walls, cascades of crystal and candlelight appeared to multiply into the distance, creating the illusion of hundreds of chandeliers floating above the runway.

British Vogue singled out the spectacle in its highlights from SS27 Fashion Month, declaring that Richard Quinn had “brought the opulence back to London Fashion Week” and describing supermodel Helena Christensen gliding along the mirrored runway “beneath clusters of chandeliers” as she closed the show.

A Dazzling World of Fashion, Crystal & Reflection

Against this spectacular backdrop, Richard Quinn unveiled a collection inspired by the unapologetic glamour and extravagance of the 1980s. Sculptural gowns, sweeping silhouettes, sequins and intricate embellishments moved beneath the chandeliers, catching and reflecting their light throughout the mirrored space.

The relationship between the chandeliers and the extraordinary set design was particularly striking. Every reflection revealed another layer of crystal, transforming the Marie Therese chandeliers into an apparently endless canopy of light above the catwalk.

The effect was pure theatre: extravagant, immersive and gloriously glamorous.

Vogue Adria was equally captivated by the setting, opening its review with the wonderful description of “a sea of diamond chandeliers reflected across the ceiling”, before noting that the set design immediately caught the audience’s attention.

Marie Therese Chandeliers Reimagined

For Crescent Moon, it was a real thrill to see the timeless elegance of the Marie Therese chandelier become such an integral part of a major London Fashion Week production.

From the quiet spectacle of the empty mirrored runway to the moment the show began and Richard Quinn’s creations appeared beneath the chandeliers, the installation demonstrated the extraordinary impact that lighting can have on an event space. Classic crystal chandeliers were transformed into something almost surreal – an infinite landscape of light and reflection providing the setting for one of British fashion’s most distinctive designers.
